August 2020 –  We had the distinct pleasure of hiking on the Appalachian Trail from Newfound Gap to the Icewater Spring Shelter.  Since this is part of the Appalachian Trail it can be done as part of a through-hike, a section hike, or an out and back.  We chose to do a day hike and completed it as an out and back.
