Grafton Ghost Town

Grafton Ghost Town

Welcome To Grafton Ghost Town! Just 8 miles from the south entrance of Zion National Park lies a small village whose last inhabitant left in 1945.  Rich in history and the scene of six motion pictures this destination is a must see if you’re visiting the area.  Grafton was first colonized by a group of ten families as part of the Cotton Mission spearheaded by Brigham Young. Destroyed by floods and abandoned several times during the Indian Troubles, Grafton still…

Our First Year as Full Time RV Travelers

On May 18, 2018 we hooked up our trailer and hit the road. Leaving Florida behind towards our first workamping gig in Yellowstone National Park. We took a huge risk leaving everything all behind to be able to enjoy a life of travel. Did our first year as full time RV…

A Place To Remember – Douglas, Wyoming – The Self Proclaimed “Home of the Jackalope.”

A Place To Remember – Douglas, Wyoming – The Self Proclaimed “Home of the Jackalope.”

We finally finished our stint in Culbertson, Montana doing the sugar beet harvest. I’m still working on my video “We Be Droppin Dem Beets”. We’ve settled down for the month of November in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Our travels took us through a couple of small towns and one of them in particular has a story that I found somewhat interesting. We stayed a night in the sleepy little town of Douglas, Wyoming which boasts being the home of the worlds…

Full Time Traveling or Full Time Eating?

Full Time Traveling or Full Time Eating?

I was cleaning up my pictures today. I take a lot of pictures of animals, beautiful landscapes, sunrises and sunsets being a full time RV traveler. However, I started to notice that I have quite a few pictures of husband, Joe about to eat. The common thread is that this man can and likes to eat like a teenage boy. After 21 years together I will never understand where he puts it as he is not a big guy.  So,…

Day Trip Through The Grand Tetons.

Day Trip Through The Grand Tetons.

Awhile ago we drove down to Jackson Hole Wyoming to pick up my mother who flew up to visit us in Yellowstone National Park. On this trip, we drove through The Grand Tetons. The Tetons are a mountain range that were formed about 10 million years ago due to massive earthquakes which caused the western end to shoot upwards and the eastern edge to shoot down. Although this is not the most interesting thing about The Grand Tetons. No, the…
