We are down to our last few weeks here in New Mexico. New Mexico is, well… a badass state that is rich in history, culture, and the scenery is an endless feast for the senses. Our latest adventure brought us to Tent Rocks National Monument. The three-mile round trip hike was full of gorgeous canyons, a 600-foot climb to the top of a mountain with views that span as far as the eye can see. Join us for a day of laughter, fun, and music as we hike through the Tent Rocks National Monument.
Let’s rock and roll!
Joe did the entire 3 mile round trip hike with his guitar strapped to his back. He took the opportunity to play one of his original songs “Planet Home” in the middle of the canyon.
This was one of our favorite day hikes to date and we can’t wait to one day do it again. New Mexico is such an incredible state and we feel blessed to have been able to discover some incredible spots while staying there. From the Organ Mountains of Las Cruces to the artistic flair of Santa Fe. New Mexico will always have a special place in our hearts.
Julia and Nick also share their thoughts and feelings in this review of Santa Fe Skies Campground which is where we called home for 4 months.
We share our top 5 favorite adventures in our blog Santa Fe: It’s A Wrap.
